AI-Integrated Hybrid Catamaran

Tilting wingsails by ©Aldo Cichero
Intelligent sailing. Efficient cruising.

This hybrid catamaran combines motor propulsion with an innovative system of rigid tilting wing sails, creating an integrated approach to propulsion, energy management and onboard living.

Designed to reduce fuel consumption, emissions and noise while improving cruising efficiency, the wing-shaped sails feature adjustable flaps and can be rotated, raised, lowered or tilted through power-assisted hydraulic or mechanical systems.

Their configuration can be controlled manually or automatically according to wind direction, wind intensity, sea state and navigation conditions.

When lowered, the wing sails become part of the architecture of the yacht, creating a protective cover over the flybridge and transforming a technical component into additional sheltered living space.

Artificial Intelligence Integration

The K2K artificial intelligence platform integrates data from wind, sea state, navigation, propulsion and onboard systems to optimise the catamaran’s performance in real time.
The system can:

optimise sail angle, flap configuration and propulsion balance;

  • reduce fuel and energy consumption;
  • manage renewable-energy production and storage;
  • support route optimisation and manoeuvring;
  • detect anomalies and enable predictive maintenance;
  • improve operational safety and onboard comfort.

The result is an intelligent and highly versatile catamaran in which design, propulsion, renewable energy, automation and living spaces are conceived as a single integrated system.
